Default The Tank Stance Build

Ok READ THIS BEFORE POST REPLYS PLEASE

This build I tested in PvE, I did not test it in PvP.

I use Bludgeoner Hammer

Hammer Matsery 9 (+1)
Tactics 12 (+4)
Smiting Prayers 9

The skills

"On Your Knees!" - Shout. Lose all adrenaline. If any adjacent foes are knocked down, all of your Stances are recharged.

Counter Blow - Hammer Attack. If this attack hits an attacking foe, that foe is knocked down.

Gladiator's Defense - Elite Stance. For 11 seconds, you have a 75% chance to block incoming attacks. Whenever you block a melee attack this way, the attacker suffers 29 damage.

Disciplined Stance - Stance. For 11 seconds, you gain +24 armor and have a 75% chance to "block" attacks. Disciplined Stance ends if you use an adrenal skill.

Balthazar's Spirit - Enchantment Spell. While you maintain this Enchantment, target ally gains 4 adrenaline and Energy after taking damage. (The amount of adrenaline gained increases depending on your rank in Smiting Prayers.)

(Could replace with different spell)

Healing Signet - Signet. You gain 159 Health. You have -40 armor while using this skill.

Irresistible Blow - Hammer Attack. If this attack hits you strike for +20 damage. If Irresistible Blow is "blocked," your target is knocked down and takes 20 damage. Irresistible Blow cannot be "evaded."

-Res-

This build is a great Defensive Build, but its lacking a little Damage, but I did the mission Vizunah Square (Foreign Quater) The monk only needed to heal me 6 times! (Yes I counted) 3 of the times was unnessary because I was using Healing Signet or after fight. Then I used *The Best Warrior Build that no one has thought of before....* I had to be healed 16 times, 3 was after the fighting. However, though it looked like I was doing a lot of damage. I wasn't doing as much damage, but I was taking the most.

You'd take less damage sporting a shield and using multiple stances/defensive skills: Riposte, Deadly Riposte, "Watch Yourself", Protector's Defense, etc.

I can see the use of (this build) the hammer and using "On your Knees!" - it is a very defensive build because you're constantly sitting in a stance and when you're not - you have someone knock downed to recharge your stance. Any pure stance build or variation can play a serious "meat shield" role but it's fairly limiting. By working in other skills that allow you to milk the block/evade rate of a stance but also deal some damage - now you're in business.
